Oil on panel 6" x 6"
Painted during the depths of a long, cold and snowy winter. I place my objects in a single light source shadow-box. The light comes from directly overheat. This is part of an ongoing series of small painting done on panels. The painting happen family quickly but finding the right fruit and matching the fruit to the surface takes time. The closest good produce market to me is over an hour so it's no exaggeration to say that the hardest part is buying the fruit.
